He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Carpenter Sr. and Linda Hazley of Trenton, NJ; his wife Tisa Carpenter; his children, Marcus Carpenter Sr. (D'Naea), Kalvin Joel Carpenter, Khalil Cooper, Tiah Cooper (Rashod) of Henderson, NC and Brianna Love of Miami, FL; his grandchildren, Prynce Love, Sincere Love and Marcus Carpenter Jr.; his stepmother Barbara Carpenter of Lumberton, NC; his siblings, Tracee Snider (Angelo) of Simpsonville, SC and Bryan Carpenter of Lumberton; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth (Terri), Eric (Angela), Kevin, Harold "Torey", Tanya, Taryn, Tracey (Jason), Twyla (Glenwood-"Jap") and Audrey-"Dana" (Derrick). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
