He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Sampson; and his parents, Jim Sampson and Edna Sampson. He is survived by: his children, Tom Sampson (Sherry), Jimmy Sampson (Edna) and Phyliss Blue (Gurney). He is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
