He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ivey Freeman; his daughters, Crystal Freeman Smith (Tim) of Hamlet, NC and Latricia Freeman (Jennifer) of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, TJ Smith (Amanda), Katie Smith Simmons (Jacob) and Brian Smith (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Liam, Millie and Ameila; his grandchildren, Henry and Reesie; and his siblings, Jackie Parnell (Tommy), Patsy Taylor (J. W.), Lynette Freeman (Lorenzo) and Glenn Freeman (Mary). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
