She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dayton Prevatte and Frances Bell Greene Prevatte; her husband Dwight Douglas Baxley; and her sister Patricia "Pattie" Prevatte Wilson. She is survived by: her sister Shelia Prevatte Morgan (Ralph); her sibling's children, Frances Miller (Jimmy), Priscilla Morgan (Jim), Coble Wilson III (Sheryl) and William Dayton Wilson Sr. (Michelle); her brother-in-law Coble D. Wilson Jr. (Jill); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jace Wilson, Dayton Wilson Jr., Tristan Morgan, Shepard Morgan, Asher Collins, Chandler Miller, Hannah Britt and Casey Miller.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary and Crematory (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
