He is survived by: his wife Onita Simmons Cox; his stepmother Sue Lee Cox; his children, Amanda Cox Owens (Dewayne) of Shrewsbury, PA and David Addison Cox (Michelle) of Lumberton; his granddaughters, Samantha Leigh Bunnell of Altamonte Springs, FL and Lauren Addison Cox of Lumberton; and his sisters, Brenda Cox Taylor (John) of Calabash, NC and Bonnie Cox of Lumberton.
