It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Campbell (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Huse Locklear and Bessie Locklear of Lumberton, NC.; her children, Milton Cummings and Linda Faye Oxendine; her former husband Earl Benson "Buddy" Cummings; and her sister Annie Lois Hammonds.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Cummings (Shelby) of Sanford, NC and Brian Campbell; her stepchildren, Camilla, Michelle Robinson, Penny Yarbough, Carry Campbell and Ed; and her siblings, Farella Oxendine, Lena Carter, Betty Scott and Earlie B. Locklear. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren.
