Though Sharon Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee Summersett and Betty Louise Walker Dawson; his sister Sylvia Ann Hobbs; and his stepmother Darthy Summersett. He is survived by: his stepsister Linda Prince (Ed) of Whiteville; his cousin Linda Lee Shaw of Whiteville; his niece Tina Blackwell (Anthony) of Chadbourn; his stepsister Lee; and also Akin Blackwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chestnut Street Methodist Church (200 E 8th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the same location.
