Shelby Jean West Prevatte Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Jean West Prevatte of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shelby Jean West Prevatte to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke West and Maude West; her sisters, Earlene Hayes, Margaret Baxley Walton and Betty Lou Prevatte; and her great grandchild Caeden Bradley Clifton.
She is survived by: her children, Tanya Rae Prevatte Lloyd (Steve), Rannah Jean Prevatte Clifton (Dan), Steven Harold Prevatte and Gregory Scott Prevatte (Marlo); Harold Ray Prevatte. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Floyd Memory Gardens (3720 Old Whiteville Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
