She was predeceased by: her father Woodrow Rowland; her brother John Wayne Rowland; her siblings-in-law, James "Jimmy" Davis and Rebecca "Becky" Rowland; her daughter Mary Lee Powers; her granddaughter Jamie Ray Poythress; and her great grandchild Shelly Renea Elliott.
She is survived by: her sister Pattie Sue Davis of Lumberton; her daughter Christle Hicks Baxley; her granddaughters, Andrea Jean Powers of Lumberton, Amanda Kaye Meares (Aaron) of Lumberton, Marianne Alicia Glenn (Greyson) of Grey's Creek, Charlee Rebecca Baxley (Ryan) and Gracie Baxley Young (Sam) of Ash; and her great grandchildren, Malikye Poythress, Myles Meares, Coleton Meares and Everett Young. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and her cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
