She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Murry and Edith Rose Russ; her husband John Bruce Lanier; and her brother Murray Johnnie Russ. She is survived by: her son Anthony; her daughter-in-law Paula Lanier; her grandson John Lanier (Leah); her great grandchild Jennings Lanier; and her sisters, Joann Smith, Viola McDonald and Edith Warrick (Junior). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
