She is survived by: her husband R. Gust "Monkey" Dial; her children, Glenn Carter of Lumberton, NC, Heath Dial of Lumberton, NC and Billie Deese of Little River, SC; her grandson Brandon Locklear (Kyara) of Fayetteville, NC.; her siblings, Bonnie Smith of Winston-Salem, NC, Leon Carter (Jackie), Pandora Carter, Vivian Drew and Cynthia Chavis; her in-laws, Peggy Emanuel (David) of Lumberton, NC., Millie Jones (Joe) of Lumberton, NC., Tammy Tyler (Carlie) of Lumberton, NC., Dorothy Jane Carter of Lumberton, NC., Clementine Dial of Lumberton, NC. and Scottie Dial of Lumberton, NC.; her grandchildren, Kenlee of Lumberton, NC, Sequoyah of Lumberton, NC, Cody of Lumberton, NC, Jacob of Lumberton, NC, Kyland of Lumberton, NC, Braxton of Lumberton, NC, Bailee, Harper (Alaina) of Little River, SC and Kennedy of Fayetteville, NC.; her great grandchild McKaezon Locklear (Little Kai); and her friends, Laura Ann, Connie Hammonds, Rita Chavis, Diane Stephens and Cindy Armstrong. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saddletree Church of God (1508 Rennert Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Locklear Cemetery.
