It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Broadaway of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joel Nathan Broadaway; his grandmother Carrie Rogers; his sister Judy Blackmon; and his wife Mary Ruth Broadaway. He is survived by: his mother Nellie Correna Daigrepont; his children, Christy Crumpler (Ken) of Goldsboro, NC, Nathan Broadaway (Sommer) of Orrum, NC and Joel Broadaway (Brooke) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his siblings, Nora Dove (Glenn) of Butters, NC and Clayton Broadaway of Lumberton, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
