He is survived by: his children, David Sanborn of Vermont, Donald Sanborn of Lumberton, Dana Sanborn of Lumberton and Darlene Sanborn of Lumberton; and his grandchildren, Logan Sanborn, Winona Lowery, Heidi Sanborn and Steven McGill. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
