We bid farewell to William Thompson Emanuel of Lumberton, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 2, 2025 at the age of 75. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cochran Emanuel and Elizabeth Gourley Emanuel; and his siblings, Robert Cochran Emanuel, Jr., James Berry Emanuel, Elizabeth "Betty Lee" Emanuel Porter, Wilmirth Ann Emanuel Potter and Emily Atrell McKenzie.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Catherine Porter Fox, Brenda Standard, Elizabeth "Betty Kay" Sellers, Beth Goins, Teresa Potter Smith, Patricia Malpass, Scott Emanuel and Greg McKenzie. He is also survived by fifteen great nieces and nephews.
