With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Alben Eason of Macclesfield, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on April 25, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by : his parents, George G. Eason and Edna Eason; and his grandchildren, Emma Claire Dixon and Timothy Charles Morris. He is survived by : his wife Lois Eason; his daughters, Cindy Eason Yarborough (Robert Yarborough) of Clayton and Dawn Eason Dixon (Chris Dixon) of Fayetteville; his grandson Joseph Brooks Dixon of Raleigh; and his sisters, Phyllis E Pitt of Pinetops and Brenda E Stallings of Winston Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carlisle Funeral Home (701 Hospital Dr, Tarboro, NC 27886). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at the Macclesfield Cemetery.
