He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Maude Coleman, Talmage and Ida Shelton; his parents, Margaret Coleman Holland and Oris Shelton; and his brother Tommy Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Booth Shelton; his children, Trina Shelton of Martinsville, VA, Todd Wilson (Sheila) of Stoneville, NC and Angela Wade (Todd) of Cary, NC; his grandsons, Daniel Wilson (Katie) of Eden, NC and Avery Wade of Cary, NC; his great grandchildren, Charli and Carsyn of Eden, NC; his sisters, Lisa Lassiter (Marshall) of Severin, NC and Janice Goodman of Williamston, NC; and his uncle Roy Coleman (Maxine) of Martinsville, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
