With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Essick Rierson (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Eli Essick; her husband Herbert Rierson; her grandson Doug Snider; and her children-in-law, Bob Powers and Ann Rierson.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Collins (Ray Carter), Brenda Snider, Jerry Rierson and Lynne Powers (Barry); her grandchildren, Brian Snider, Chris Williams, Claire Edlin (Cotton), Alexander Powers and Jana Snider; and her sister-in-law Betty Rierson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
