He is survived by: his sons, Austin Simmons, Andrew Simmons and Hildur Simmons; and his siblings, James Simmons (Sodavy), Jason Simmons, Rena Vaughn (Mark), Rosemary Pyrtle (Dwan), Peggy Trujillo (Al) and Tracey Lederer (Steve). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
