He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton "Doc" Luman Sharon and Ruth Powell Sharon; his son-in-law Darryl Barton; his brother Luman; his sister-in-law Ruth Sharron; and his nephew Roger Sharron.
He is survived by: his wife Genean O'Dell Sharon; his children, Bobby "Kevin" Sharon (Cathy) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Renee Sharon Barton, Boston Terrier and Bella of Madison; his granddaughters, Jessica Michael (Chris) of Chesapeake and Jennifer Farley (Corey) of Hurricane; his great grandchildren, Joey Garcia, Cooper, Melanie and Layla Farley; and his nieces, Patricia Fulp (Bill) and Kay Sharron. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
