He is survived by: his wife Judy Smith Atkins; his children, Charles Atkins (Ann), Torey "Chelle" Duncan (Kenny), Matt Atkins, Mark Atkins and Steve Atkins; his siblings, Thurman, George, Kemp Atkins and Nell Davenport; his sons, Bobby Atkins Jr. and Jason Atkins; and his daughter-in-law Linda Atkins. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
