He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Samuel Nance and Mary Mills Nance. He is survived by: his granddaughter Hayden; his wife Rita Hutchens-Nance; his children, Bobby Joel "Boo" Nance, Jr. (Kristie), Gabriel Samuel Nance of Sandy Ridge, Jason William Hutchens of Belews Creek and Charity Nance Murray (Joe); his siblings, Neal Nance of Sandy Ridge and Jane N. Tucker (Wayne) of Madison; his sister-in-law Donna Duggins (Ricky); his grandchildren, Skylar Murray, Gabby Nance, Chris Tovar, Marisa Lungrin, Nate Murray and Loegan Clifton; his nephew Donald McKnight; Melinda, Angie, Jane, Katie and Wayne. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and many cousins.
