He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Burton Hall and Essie Marie Hall; his son David Hall; the mother of his children Charlotte Yvonne Harris Hall; and his siblings, Donald Hall, Jimmy Hall, Jay Hall, Debbie Hundley, Joann Martin and Shirley.

He is survived by : his wife Sybil Hall; his children, Lisa Dabbs (Jesse) of Ridgeway, VA, Melissa Turner (Billy) of Madison and Ashlea Staples (Tyrone) of Stoneville; his daughter-in-law Charlotte Hall of Martinsville, VA; his grandchildren, Brittany Hylton (Chris), Meghan Oneal Hall (Jase), Brandon Hall (Kaitlin), Krystal Beam (Tim), Stephanie Carter (Chris), Kimberley Miller (James), Anna Halsey (Santana), Phoebe Shaffer-Malloy (Jesus), Devin Cheatum, Jr. and Troy Staples; his siblings, Roger Hall of Statesville and Bobbie Jean Deal of Bassett, VA; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
