She was predeceased by : her parents, William M. Rhodes, Jr. and Mozelle Lawson Rhodes. She is survived by : her daughter Heather Vernon Talley; her son-in-law Marshall Talley; and her pet Beni.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (NC-704, Madison, NC 27025).
