He was predeceased by: his stepfather Frank Luther; his siblings, Billy Corns and Fae Martin; and his brother-in-law Thomas Rodgers. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Bullins (Tony) of Madison, Brian Corns (Toni Rhodes) of Walnut Cove and Hannah Hopkins (Geoffrey) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Cameron Corns and Nate Bullins; his siblings, Ruth Rodgers of Lawsonville and Clyde Corns (Tina) of Danbury; and his sister-in-law Lillie Mae Corns of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
