He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Thomas Rierson; his wife Connie Blackwelder Rierson; and his siblings, Stick Rierson, Charles Rierson, Gretchen Sumner, Ken Rierson, Rachel Williams, Lane Greene and Jerry Rierson.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Rierson and Todd Rierson; his grandson Jordan Anderson; and his brother Michael Rierson (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
