We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2025, at the age of 89, Don English Briggs of Madison, North Carolina, born in Unicoi, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Capps and Mary Capps. He is survived by: his wife Janice Arrington Briggs; his children, Tonja Taffer (Jimmy), Terry Briggs and Stephen Briggs (Leeanne); his grandchildren, LaTanya Mullis (Joey), Megan Stidham (Shannon), Robert Taffer (Samantha) and Mayson Briggs (Karista); and his great grandchildren, Jonathon, Addison, Sadie Mullis, Kayson Briggs, Sawyer Taffer, Justice, Valor Stidham and Titus Taffer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
