She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Powell and Edna Richardson Powell; her daughter Tina Marie Hardy; and her sister Marie Martin (Darrell). She is survived by: her husband Harold Anderson; her children, Rick Hardy (Robin), Kenny Hardy (Candace), Donald Hardy (Stephanie), Jeff Anderson (Christy) and Fay Stanley (Danny); and her brothers, Wayne Powell (Fran) and Ray Powell (Ruth). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (127 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at the Jessup Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Guilford Baptist Church.
