He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Garrison and Minnie Cardwell Garrison; and his brother Charles Garrison. He is survived by: his children, Robert Penn "Donnie" of Stoneville, NC, Earnest Garrison (Ann Nowlin) of Mayodan, NC, Darron Garrison "Deechie" (Kay) of Eden, NC, Maurice Moore (Kia) of Greensboro, NC and Burrell G. Craig (Shannon) of Mayodan, NC; his sibling's children, Charlotte Cress (Robert), Charles Garrison (VeRonda) and Lanette Carter (Harry); and his brother-in-law Willie Penn (Reed). He is also survived by 5 grandsons, 14 granddaughters, 4 great grandsons, 5 Great granddaughters, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
