He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Estel Anderson and Martha Bennett Anderson; his wife Earlene Powell Anderson; and his siblings, Burl Anderson, Johnny Anderson, Bobby Anderson, Sissy Norris and Ruby Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Fay Stanley (Danny), Jeff Anderson (Christy), Rick Hardy (Robin), Kenny Hardy (Candace) and Donald Hardy (Stephanie). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.
