He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lee Hopper and Nellie Gray Lemons Hopper; his siblings, Melvin Jackson Hopper, David Harold Hopper and Ethel Elizabeth Hopper Pulliam; his daughter-in-law Tasha Cardwell; his nephew Billy Dean Hopper; and his brother-in-law Arnold "Sonny Boy" Hennis.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Adkins Hopper; his children, Carson Lee Hopper (Billie), Nancy Gray Hopper (Brooke), Nellie Caroline Hopper (Jake), Lily Hopper Clark (Brandon) and Tequila Marie Hopper; his grandchildren, Emely Joann Hopper and Waylon Willard Clark; his siblings, Margaret Gray Hennis, Deborah Manring, Reuben Daniel Hopper (Joan), Thomas Lee Hopper, Wendell "Pokey" Hopper and Douglas Adam Hopper (Janice); his niece Lisa Wilson; and his nephew Arnold "Chuck" Hennis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
