With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Roberts Mitchell (Madison, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Wright Roberts; her husband Ruben Berkley Mitchell, Sr.; her grandson John Matt Mitchell; and her siblings, Ailene Joyce, Lucille Westmoreland and Jim Roberts.
She is survived by: her sons, Ruben Berkley Mitchell, Jr. (Betty) and John Wright Mitchell (Joni); her grandchildren, Mitch Mitchell (Mary Beth), Anna Carroll (Kent), Mary Margaret Bailey (David), Sara Norman and Lee Ann Bolton (Jess); and her great grandchildren, Ella, Emily, Emma Kate, Levi, Ethan, Gavin, Fisher, Silas and Luca. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
