James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mary Ruth; his wife Mary Ruth Wall; his parents, John Lowell Wall and Mattie Sue Wall Sands; and his stepfather Roy James Sands.
He is survived by: his sons, David Wall (Leslie) of Madison and Patrick Wall of High Point; his granddaughters, Dr. Brittany Wall of Tampa and Ashton Wall of Madison; and his siblings, Mary Sue Manring (Lewis), Lowell "Buck" Wall, Martha Gann, Judy Varner and Jesse.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Mt Hermon Methodist Church (8011 NC-704, Madison, NC 27025). A burial will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:50 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
