He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James Mabe and Mary Sue Rierson Mabe; and his wife Sylvia Jean Pegram Mabe. He is survived by: his daughters, Jeannie Ellison (Donnie) of Madison, Crystal Martin (Ben) of Madison and Pamela Mabe of Madison; his grandchildren, Taylor, Carlie, Makayla, Keyon, Izayah, Grace and Hunter; and his sister Carolyn Smith of Walnut Cove.
