He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Lee Pruitt and Fleetwood Whitfield Satterfield (Pruitt); his grandparents, James and Nettie Whitfield; and his half-brother Barry Satterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Annetta K. Pruitt (Ann); his sons, Jason L. Ellis (Tabetha) and Joshua L. Pruitt (Jessica); his grandchild Caden L. Ellis (Abigail); his great grandchild Grayson L. Ellis; and his cousin Rick Gilmore.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel (127 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025).
