He was predeceased by: his parents, Okel Evans and Martha Evans. He is survived by: his sons, John Ralph Evans, Jr. (Carolyn), Jason Paul Evans (Virginia) and Jeremy Okel Evans (Tina); his wife Carolyn Holt; and his grandchildren, Haley, Daniel, Samuel, Jackson, Annabelle and Addison.
In lieu of flower the family request is that memorial contributions be directed to Madison United Methodist Church, 110 West Academy St, Madison, NC 27025.
