She was predeceased by: her father Austin Houck; her husband Charles H. Scott; and her son Randolph "Randy" Scott. She is survived by: her sister Helen H. Smith of Charlotte, NC; her daughter Barbara S. James of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Catherine S. Arne of Asheville, NC, Eric Scott of Midlothian, VA and Patrick James of Auburn, AL; and her great grandchildren, Bella James, Georgia Barber, Simon, Andrew and Lily Scott.
