It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Parrish Powers (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Cleo Parrish; and her siblings, Jean Loftis, Irene Edwards and Jacqueline Bullard. She is survived by: her husband John W. Powers; her children, Johnny D. Powers (Janelle) and Lisa P. Stanley (Brian); her grandchildren, Heather Baker (Greg), Jon Powers (Morgan) and Jessica Powers; her great grandchildren, Zane, Jax Baker, Jonathan, Henry and Evelyn Powers; and her siblings, Bob Parrish, Marvin Parrish, Jeanette Loftis, Karen Bullard and Kathleen Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summerfield Baptist Temple, Piano Fund, 7904 Winfree Road, Summerfield, NC 27358.
