She was predeceased by: her father William Riley Capps; her husband James Leonard Austin; and her sisters, Virginia Towe, Meryl Coggins and Kathleen Capps.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Austin (Joan) of Ocean Breeze, FL and Dianna Attaway (Steve) of Hendersonville, NC; her brother Robert Capps of Asheville, NC; her grandchildren, Desiree Clonch (Chris) of Palm City, FL, Wes Attaway (Melanie) of West Chicago, IL and Matt Attaway (Lindsay) of Issaquah, WA; and her great grandchildren, Charlee Clonch, Josiah, Samantha and Seth Attaway.
