We announce the death of Philip H. Wall Sr. (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 89. Philip will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charles Wall and Paul Wall; and his pet Fritzie. He is survived by: his wife Mildred White Wall; his son Philip H. Wall, Jr.; his sister Dot Zur; his niece Suzanne Zur (Guy); his niece-in-law Lynn Byland (Tim); his nephews, Wesley Wall (Emily) and Tom Zur (Meredith); and his close friends, Mark Gatewood, Doug Wilson and Robert Wilson.
The family suggest that memorial donations be made to Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Brenda Ward at 2052 Dillard Road, Madison, NC 27025 or to the Saint Jude's Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
