He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Ferrell, Doris Flynn and Dumpy Caviness. He is survived by: his parents, Peyton Brook Smith and Colby James Perdue; his stepbrother Cason Kelly; his grandparents, Jody and Steven Watts; his great-grandparents, Jennie Caviness and Kathy Adkins; his aunts and uncles, Chloe Smith, Talan Smith, Aubrey Caviness and Payton Perdue; his stepaunt Makayla Wilson; and his stepuncle Michael Smith.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel (127 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025). A reception was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
