He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hampton and Nettie Hopper Wilson; and his siblings, Willard (Pete), Jewel, Hamp, Banner, Henry, John, Carey, Opie, Louise, Branson and Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Shelton Wilson; his children, Don Wilson (Nancy) and Kathy McMillan (Gary); his grandchildren, Amy Nicholson (Alex), Alison Keever (William), Natalie Sechrist (Jeff) and Ryan Tysor (Jess); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Crosby, Lindsay Nicholson, Caroline, Will Keever, Anna, Kate Sechrist and Rhett Tysor; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Banyon and Bo Mayo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to three organizations: The Barry Joyce Local Cancer Support Fund, Rockingham County Aging, Disability and Transit Services and Eden United Methodist Church.
