He was predeceased by: his father John W. Boyer; and his brother David Boyer. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Vaughn Boyer; his children, Angela Wolf (Winn), Michael Boyer (Amy), Julie Barnhardt (Lloyd), Steven Boyer (Jessica) and Teresa Cronin (Michael); his stepchildren, Lori Warren and Brad Gulla; his grandchildren, Colin, Cody, Austin, Jake, Allie, Carter, Sienna, Keira and Vince; and his siblings, John Boyer (Caryl) of Minnesota, Bob Boyer (Linnea) of Minnesota, Carol Peterson of Minnesota and Cherie Heitke (Les) of Minnesota.
