He is survived by: his mother Geneva Corum Barnes; his wife Jean Lawson Barnes; his son Robbie Barnes; his stepdaughter Dana Thompson (Bruce); his grandsons, Nick Joyce (Savannah Gentry), Nathan Joyce and Jared Thompson; his brother-in-law Robert Cox; and his niece Tasha Cox. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
