He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean McAdams Owens; his son Timothy Owens; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandchildren, Emily, Breanna, Kaydance and Devin; and his great grandchild Hadley. He is also survived by four sisters and a sister-in-law, along with extended family.
