He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Edwards and Margaret Elizabeth Plummer Edwards; and his daughter Kim Woods. He is survived by: his wife Dianne S. Edwards; his sisters, June Yow (Junior) and Dianna Maness (Jerry); his grandchildren, Casey and Travis Woods; and his close friend Jerry Price (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
