She is survived by: her children, Cindy Stanton, Gwen Babbitt, Penny Youngblood (Randy) and Charlie Stanton (Melinda); her sister Anne Souther; her sisters-in-law, Jean Watkins, Freida Holden and Dianne Holden; and her grandchildren, Holly Babbitt, Ashley Shumaker (Eric), David Stanton (Brittnay), Logan Youngbblood (Bailey), Deanna Moffitt (Jarred) and Levi Youngblood. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (67 N Main St, Mars Hill, NC 28754).
