She was predeceased by: her father Weldon Mabe; her husband James Shelton; and her brothers, Bethel Mabe and Truman Mabe. She is survived by: her children, Melvin Shelton (Ann) and Frances Young (Ronald); her sister Stella M. Carter; her grandchildren, Dwayne Young (Sheri), Rhonda Kimrey (Ron), Anthony Young (Aimee), Melanie Seay (Dennis) and Kimberly Farmer (Chad); and her great grandchildren, Luke Kimrey, Ashton Kimrey, Jack Young, Emmi Seay, Presley Seay, Noah Farmer, Kennedy Farmer and Alice Young.
