She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Phillips and Lucille Medford Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Jake Messer (Denise) and Molly Messer Schick (Josh); her granddaughters, Marley and Gwyneth Schick; and her siblings, Nanette Edwards (Ronnie) and Jeff Phillips (Gwen).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Road Baptist Church, "family Life Center" (2701 Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751).
