We bid farewell to Helen W. Brown of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wilson and Marguerite Wilson; her husband Robert Thomas Brown; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Brown; her siblings, George Wilson, Charles Wilson, John Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Joe Wilson, Kathleen DePietro, Nancy McBrearty and Terese Calvarese; and her great grandchildren, Alana and Cheyenne Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Brown (Renee) of Maggie Valley, NC, Thomas Brown (Kari) of Silverton, OR, Patricia Carter (Myron) of Maggie Valley, NC, Mary Lou Manis (Wayne) of Lincolnton, NC, Barbara Brown of Cadiz, KY, Margaret McCarver (Jim) of Cordova, TN and Joan Chessor (Doug) of Paducah, KY. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church (902 E 9th St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Green Hill Memorial Gardens (5325 Cadiz Rd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church Building Fund.
