She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Noland and Idella S. Noland; her husband Joe N. Tate Jr.; her daughter Julia A. Tate; her daughter-in-law Tracy Brigman; and her brothers, Hardy and Jack Noland.
She is survived by: her children, Rebekah Norman (Ted) and James N. Tate; her grandsons, Bragg Norman (Shay) and Calab Tate (Lindsey); her great grandchildren, Price and Lincoln; her son-in-law Bruce Rary; and her sister Betty Noland Boone.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Garrett Hillcrest Cemetery (886 Russ Ave, Waynesville, NC 28786).
